Weekly Giveaway: Buddha Bunz Dryer Ball

If you cloth diaper, you've probably heard about how fantastic Wool Dryer balls can be. When I first started cloth diapering, I didn't buy into the hype. Why spend so much on wool, when I could get plastic ones at the grocery store for 1/3 the price?!? Then, almost a year ago, I was given 4 dryer balls at a trade show. I figured I would try them out. The next time I did laundry, I tossed them in with my diapers. I haven't looked back since. I now use 6 dryer balls in each load of cloth diapers I do. They have decreased my dry time, made my diapers softer, and reduced static. I'm hooked. I get it now.

This week, we want to give one of you the chance to start (or expand) your collection of wool dryer balls. We suggest using 4-8 balls in a normal sized cloth diaper load, but even 1 will make a difference!! One fantastic thing about wool dryer balls is that they can be scented with essential oils - giving you the chance to add a sweet smell to your laundry! Essential oils can be bought at most specialty grocery stores (Whole Foods, Wegmann's, places like that!) and you only need a few drops for some long lasting scent!!

Enter below for your chance to win a Buddha Bunz Wool Dryer ball!! And, if you aren't already using dryer balls, make sure to pick up a few with your next order - trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We do not currently use them I have been trying to convince my Hubby that we need to invest in them to cut our drying cost. He doesn't see it...yet! If I win them then I can convince him and help save energy in the process :)

We don't use them but I want to because sometime the microfiber inserts cause static in the dryer.

I currently only have 1 lonely dryer ball but I love it. Its scented and makes the clothes and the dryer smell wonderful!

We only have two right now and I love them, but I think to make them more efficient I really need more to decrease drying time

I want to use them because they cut down on dry time, static cling, chemical free, and are cloth diaper safe.

I want to try dryer balls, but I don't have any yet. I've been air-drying my diapers to cut down on energy costs and keep the house cooler, but even with a short time in the dryer afterward they're still a little crunchy and I think dryer balls would fix that.

I have a set of Nellie's dryer balls, but I think I'd prefer wool ones.

I don't have any, but I'd love to try them because I hear the cut down on drying time and I would especially want them for my cloth diapers!

Since becoming pregnant we switched to All free and clear to be ready when baby comes so we stopped using fabric softener etc, cant wait to see if dryer balls work as well as everyone says!

Beth Ann said...

I want to try them because it's a great replacement for fabric softener, which are not only terrible for the environment but they're also terrible for your washer / dryer!

I currently do not use dryer balls. But, I would love to try them! Winter is coming and that means no more sunning my diapers on the line outside which leads to higher electricity bills for using the dryer. I am hoping that dryer balls would drastically cut my drying time and save me some money!

We do use dryer balls! I love them because it means that I'm not getting chemicals all over my baby's skin and sensitive parts when I wash his clothes and diapers! We use them for ALL our laundry now!

Don't use them but have been wanting to try them. I don't use any fabric softener or dryer sheets so I would love to find a way to soften my laundry and reduce the static.

We have some home-made dryer balls and they do help with drying time and softness :) However, mine keep unraveling :/
